The Fort Bend Young Democrats (FBYD) is committed to harnessing the collective voting strength of young people to help bring about a new political era. We are dedicated to the idea that young people have the most to gain and lose in the political process and that only through strong and effective participation can we empower ourselves to fashion our own destiny.

Fort Bend County is the second-most diverse county in the country. It is home to significant populations of African-American, Hispanic, Asian-American, and Caucasian populations, leading to a unique blend of cultures, identities, and diversity. Young people staffed the campaigns that turned the county blue in 2018, and Fort Bend Young Democrats are determined to carry the momentum forward by training, elevating, and supporting the next generation of civic leaders in Fort Bend County.

Fort Bend Young Democrats are proud to have provide qualified, well-trained local staffers for local, state-wide, and federal races. Our members have a broad range of campaign experiences including finance, fundraising, event-planning, field, communications, and advance. Our monthly trainings, mentorship program, and socials empower the next generation to participate civically. Our members range from students in high school and college to young professionals in both the private and public sectors.
